School, college & coaching ERP
A full school and college management ERP covering reception to results, built as NestJS microservices behind an API gateway, with a fast Next.js admin and a configurable public website for every branch.
Project Overview
ShikkhaNext is a complete operating system for schools, colleges and large coaching groups. It covers the whole institution: front desk, admissions, academics, exams, finance, HR, hostel, transport, library and communication.
We designed it for multi-branch institutions from day one. Each branch is a tenant. A super admin can manage several campuses, while every branch keeps its own staff, classes, fees and website.
The backend is split into domain microservices (auth, HR, academic, student, exam, reception, finance, attendance, facility, CMS and notification) that communicate over Redis. Each service owns its PostgreSQL schema. An API gateway handles JWT authentication, role-based access, rate limiting and Swagger docs. The same codebase deploys to a Docker server or to cPanel shared hosting.

The Challenge
Schools and colleges juggle dozens of separate registers and tools: admission files, attendance books, fee ledgers, exam tabulation sheets, salary spreadsheets, SMS panels and an outdated website. Data is duplicated, reports take days, and multi-campus groups have no consolidated view.
Our Solution
We are building a modular ERP with 34 functional areas, each mapped to a service boundary. Shared contracts and domain events keep the modules in sync. For example, an admission automatically creates the student, guardian and fee records, and sends a notification. A role-aware admin UI, bilingual interface and per-branch CMS sit on top.

Final Outcome
Most of the 34 modules are built and working, from reception through reports. Institutions get one system instead of a dozen registers, multi-campus groups get a consolidated view, and the service-based architecture lets each module grow and scale independently.
